there’s like…. this edge around stuff when non monsterfuckers try to promote stuff to monsterfuckers that just feels….so disingenuous
Like it’s promoted to us but u can tell when they aren’t really that invested in it and are a few wrong posts away from calling you a freak
(Not in a gatekeepy way but in a ‘these people are actually judgmental to what they’re supposedly trying to avertise’)
Certain aspects here lie in like. Not understanding why viewers enjoy that stuff. Side comments about how weird/annoying those interests are in the past. Shoving all into 'anything’ rather then the fact that audiences appreciate *specific* characters and personalities of monstrous characters….
It’s fine not to be into monsters, we all have different tastes. But the overlap with the societal norms of mocking furries and monsterlovers often makes this take on a bad angle, and frankly I think it’s fair to find certain formats of inclusions disingenuous.
Reading reviews for havdalah candles written by unsuspecting Christian housewives who bought them to use for dinner candles is my new passion. I’ll be laughing for an eternity.

For my goyische followers: Havdalah is a service to mark the end of shabbat and the beginning of the week. The flame is big so that everyone at the service can see it. You also only have it lit for a few minutes before extinguishing it (traditionally in wine). They are not table candles. My guess is that these people bought them because they’re pretty and braided without knowing or caring what they’re used for.
For my Jewish followers: the goyim are at it again.
It needs to be multiple wicks, and I think a tall flame is just what happens in that situation
